*ALL DOMESTIC ORDERS WITH STANDARD SHIPPING SELECTION TAKE 4 - 7 BUSINESS DAYS TO PROCESS BEFORE BEING SHIPPED OUT. (DURING THE HOLIDAY SEASON PROCESSING TIMES MAY BE EXTENDED)*
DC House of Fashions, L.L.C dba DHoFTN is not responsible for, and is excused from, performing due to events outside of our control, including but not limited to acts of God and weather-related delays.
- Shipping prices for domestic packages are calculated at the checkout screen
- Estimated delivery dates are available within 24 hours of issued tracking numbers
Orders placed on M-F and after 2PM – EST will ship the following business day for Overnight and Expedited Orders ONLY.
Free Domestic shipping on orders over $75+.
Please Note: Only qualifying states within the inner 48 states of the continental USA qualify for free shipping. This does not include (Puerto Rico, Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Virgin Islands and Guam).
DHoFTN accepts orders 24 hours a day x 7 days per week. Orders are processed in the order they are received and expedited shipping orders, such as Priority and Express shipping, are elevated in priority to meet the delivery deadline. All orders are shipped from our Maryland distribution center, via the method of customer selection during checkout. DHoF ships to all states within the contiguous United States.
DHoFTN follows the standard methods available by USPS and UPS similar carriers.

- Economy delivery typically within 5 - 9 business days. Flash Sales may require an additional 2 - 3 days - $7.70 +
- Standard delivery typically within 4 - 7 business days. Flash Sales may require an additional 2 - 3 days - $9.95
- Priority delivery typically within 3 - 4 business days. Flash Sales may require an additional 2 - 3 days - $14.95
- Express delivery typically within 3 business days** Flash Sales may require an additional 2 - 3 days - $24.95
SERVICE LEVEL (ALASKA, HAWAII) FLAT RATE*
- Standard delivery typically within 6 - 10 business days. Flash Sales may require an additional 2 - 3 days. - $14.95
- Priority delivery typically within 5 - 8 business days. Flash Sales may require an additional 2 - 3 days - $20.95
- Express delivery typically within 5 business days. Flash Sales may require an additional 2 - 3 days - $29.95
SERVICE LEVEL (APO/FPO/DPO & OTHER US TERRITORIES – GUAM, PUERTO RICO, US VIRGIN ISLANDS, ETC.)
Standard delivery typically within 5 - 9 business days. Flash Sales may require an additional 2 - 3 days. Starts at $14.95*** Priority and Express Delivery are not available at this time.
* Flat rate pricing applies for packages up to 50 lbs., and with dimensions in length and girth < 130 inches. Shipping for packages above these amounts will be calculated separately based on weight, size and delivery location. ** Express Shipping typically arrives within two to three business days. For example, if order submitted on Saturday or Sunday, the order will ship on Monday and arrive by Wednesday. Flash Sales may require an additional 2 - 3 days due to order volume at our warehouse. *** Shipping costs may vary. Rate will be calculated upon checkout.
METHOD OF SELECTION:
- Standard orders placed on the DC House of Fashions, LLC website and via Walmart.com, by 2:00PM - EST, during the weekday are generally processed for shipment within 4-7 business days from the time the order is placed.
PRIORITY and EXPRESS ORDERS:
- Priority and Express orders placed on the DC House of Fashions, LLC website and via Walmart.com, before 2PM - EST and during the weekday will be processed and shipped out the within 3-4 business days.
- Priority and Express orders placed on the DC House of Fashions, LLC website and via Walmart.com after 2:00PM - EST will be processed and shipped out on the next business day. Orders placed after 2PM on Friday, or anytime on Saturday and Sunday will be processed and shipped on the next business day. USPS does not pick up on weekends and does not deliver on Sundays.
A tracking number will be provided in an email to the customer at such time as the order ships. Please note that it may take several hours from the time an order ships to the time it is first scanned by the carrier into the their system.
DHoFTN ships to PO Boxes and Military addresses (APO/FPO/DPO addresses) within the United States and contingent upon USPS capabilities.
At this time however DHoFTN cannot offer priority or express shipping for these shipments. Orders that contain a different shipping address from billing address may be subject to review, in which case the customer will be contacted. This process will impact / delay shipping time.
SHIPPING TAX RATES:
Tax rates are based on the shipping address and not the billing address.
USPS is closed in observation of holidays. Below are 2022 closure dates:
- New Year's Day: Friday, Jan. 1
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day: Monday, Jan. 18
- Presidents Day/Washington's Birthdays y: Monday, Feb. 15
- Memorial Day: Monday, May 31
- Independence Day: Monday, July 5 (observed, because July 4 falls on a Sunday)
- Labor Day: Monday, Sept. 6
- Columbus Day: Monday, Oct. 11
- Veterans Day: Thursday, Nov. 11
- Thanksgiving: Thursday, Nov. 25
- Christmas: Saturday, Dec. 25
All packages marked as delivered by USPS or UPS are at the liability of the customer. Customers must be present or make accommodations when packages are being delivered. DC House of Fashions, LLC dba DHoFTN is not responsible for any lost packages once the item (in tracking) has been marked as delivered.
LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES:
If the package shows delivered to your address but is missing, you MUST report the loss to us within 10 business days of placing your order (domestic shipments) or 14 days of placing your order (Puerto Rico, Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Virgin Islands and Guam). Once you have reported your package as lost, DHoFTN will launch an inquiry with our carrier about the lost package and attempt to have it recovered. If the carrier declares the package to be a complete loss, we will file a claim with the carrier for reimbursement of the insured amount. Pending the outcome of the claim, a decision by DHoFTN will be made regarding next steps and the customer will be notified via email accordingly.
All refused packages are subject to a 20% restocking fee of the final order total. NO EXCEPTIONS!!! The remaining amount will be reimbursed to the card utilized by the customer at the time of checkout.
All undeliverable packages that are not provisioned and reshipped and, required to be restocked ,are subject to a 20% restocking fee of the final order total. NO EXCEPTIONS!!! If the customer wishes to have the package reshipped, the customer must place a new order and is responsible for all costs associated with reshipping the package.
DHoFTN is not responsible for packages that are delivered to a wrong address due to an incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer. Please contact your carrier.
**DHoFTN is NOT responsible for any shipping deliveries that may be affected by customs, natural occurrences, transfers from USPS to the local carrier in your country or air and ground transportation strikes or delays; nor are we responsible for any extra fees, customs or back end charges once the package has exited the United States. The customer is responsible for any and all customs charges due on delivery of product.**
