DCHOUSEOFFASHIONS.COM RETURN POLICY:

PURCHASES MADE VIA DCHOUSEOFFASHIONS.COM:

A DC House of Fashions item purchased via dchouseoffashions.com is eligible for store credit or exchange within 10 days based on order fulfillment date.  A valid RMA# is required for items to be returned.

A small number of heavily discounted items may be marked as FINAL SALE, in which case they are not eligible for store credit or exchange.

If you are not satisfied with the items purchased on our website, you may return them for a store credit or exchange, less a 20% restock fee, which will be deducted from the amount of the total purchase price. All returns must be received by dchouseoffashions.com within 10 days beginning with the date of fulfillment. Fulfillment in this instance means, "the date an order is shipped out to the customer". NO EXCEPTIONS.

Shipping fees or taxes related to the shipping costs will not be reimbursed.

Return shipping is always FREE with DC House of Fashions.

**Exceptions to this policy will be made for defective items or shipment of wrong item(s) only**. In the event of defective merchandise, or a shipment of the wrong item, DC House of Fashions, L.L.C will accept a return outside of the normal 10-day window. Start a return here.

  • Returns must be requested within 48 hours from the date of receipt of merchandise. (Including delivery day)
  • A Return Confirmation Number (RMA) is required to return your merchandise by mail. (Any items shipped without a confirmation or outside of the Return Policy Guidelines will not be credited)
  • The returning merchandise should be received within 14 days from the time the RMA is issued. Items received after 14 days will NOT be credited. (If a package is delayed during delivery it is your responsibility to immediately contact us about your situation so we may assist you)
  • To return an item, place it securely in its original or new packaging and include your proof of purchase (i.e., customer invoice).
  • All returned items must be in new and unused condition with the original tags and labels attached: This means , unworn, unwashed, and / or undamaged. Boxed items may be opened, but all packaging must be included.
  • Returns are processed within two weeks of the packaged invoice.

DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE:

  • If any item is delivered damaged you have 48 Hours to contact us for assistance. (It is the buyers responsibility to check for any damaged clothing upon opening the package once it’s delivered)
  • In the event of defective merchandise, or a shipment of the wrong item, DC House of Fashions, L.L.C will happily accept a return for store credit or exchange the damaged item for a new one.

IN-STORE:

  • Any items purchased online are NOT eligible to be returned to a retail location. Items purchased online MUST be returned online with a valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number.
  • Items purchased in-store are NOT eligible for return online. In-store purchases MUST be returned at the same location purchased within the Return Policy Window. 

SHOES:

  • All shoes must be packed in the original box and shipped inside a separate box. 
  • Use a protective box or wrap with thick paper. Item(s) received unwrapped or without the original box will be rejected or be presented with a 20% restocking fee
  • All shoes have a flat rate $9.95 shipping charge and are not included in free shipping promotions.

RESTOCK RETURNS:

  • Any returns that one, go unclaimed and / or two, have unpaid invoices from the original invoice date, after 30 calendar days, will be forfeited and placed back into DC House of Fashions' inventory. (NO EXCEPTIONS). We cannot hold a return for more than 30 Days. 

$10 SALE ITEMS:

All $10 Sale Items are FINAL SALE. No Exchanges or Store credit.

GIFT CERTIFICATES/STORE CREDIT:

  • Orders placed with store credit and / or gift certificates make the order final sale.
  • The order may not be returned for store credit, only exchanged if the item is available or valid.
  • We do not allow double returns (only one return for an exchange will be processed).

GENERAL - SALE ITEMS:

In-store:

Any item with a red line marked through the tag and / or has final sale written on the tag is deemed a final sale and may not be returned or exchanged in-store.

Online:

Any item ending in .98 cent or marked as final sale may not be returned or exchanged online.

RESTOCKING FEE:

It is the customers’ responsibility to verify their shipping address. In general, any packages returned to us because it was deemed undeliverable will be charged a 50% restocking fee plus shipping charges. 

DMV Pickup - It is our policy to hold merchandise selected for pick up for a period of 7 calendar days before refunding the item, minus any restocking fee(s). A 20% restocking fee, applicable to the item's original price (does not include shipping costs), applies to all "Original" "Sale" and "Final Sale" items.

EXCHANGES:

Please contact us if you’re interested in exchanging your item (must be within the 48 hour contact / 14 day return window)

Customers are responsible for covering the shipping charges if the product is being exchanged.

If the exchange is not available at the time store credit will be issued in replacement for the full value of the product (minus shipping).  

RETURNS/EXCHANGE (INSTRUCTIONS):

Any package received without being pre-authorized with an approved return authorization code will not be accepted and / or credited. The buyer will be responsible for paying the shipping cost back to you.

Any package returned outside of the specified time-frame will not be issued store credit. Customer will be responsible for postage back to their delivery address. NO EXCEPTIONS. It is the customer’s responsibility to return all authorized items within 14 days of the RMA issue date.

REFUNDS:

NO REFUNDS. Store Credit or exchange ONLY. You will have to pay additional shipping for any exchange.

Non-Returnable Items = (Final Sale Items)

The following items may not be returned for store credit or exchange:

  1. Items marked down 50-70% off (Special Offers Included)
  2. Accessories
  3. Lingerie, Bodysuits and Bathing Suits
  4. Party Dress
  5. Jewelry
  6. Refused Packages

Orders that are refused will be charged the original shipping plus return shipping to us. Orders shipped via UPS are subject to the 'Terms and Conditions of Service' as detailed on UPS.com.

Check Your Email: We will send you an email once your return has been received at our fulfillment center, processed and, the proper account has been credited. You should expect the credit to be processed within 10-14 business days after we have received your return. 

Returns will be processed within 10-14 business days from the date we receive your return package at our returns facility, NOT from the date of shipment.

All purchases made via walmart.com are subject to the refund terms according to the affiliate website. Please check Walmart.com for their refund policy. DHoFTN conforms to all Walmart.com policies.
