SHIPPING POLICY (Updated March 2021)
*All orders take 3-5 business days to process before being shipped out. (During the holiday season it may be extended)
DHoF is not responsible for, and is excused from, performing due to events outside of our control, including but not limited to acts of God and weather-related delays.
Orders placed After 2PM eastern time will ship the following business day for Overnight and Expedited Orders.
Free Domestic shipping on orders over $100 or more.
Please note only qualifying states within the inner 48 states of the continental USA qualify for free shipping. This does not include (Puerto Rico, Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. Virgin Islands and Guam)
DHoF accepts orders 24 hours a day week x 7 days per week. Orders are processed in the order they are received and expedited shipping orders, such as Priority and Express shipping, are elevated in priority to meet the delivery deadline. All orders are shipped from our Maryland distribution center, via the method of customer selection during checkout. DHoF ships to all states within the contiguous U.S.
DHoF™ follows the standard methods available by USPS and UPS similar carriers.
STANDARD SHIPPING RATES ARE AS FOLLOWS AND ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE BASED ON APPLICABLE CARRIER RATES AT THE TIME OF ORDER, AS WELL AS, THE CUSTOMERS SHIPPING METHOD SELECTED:

* Flat rate pricing applies for packages up to 50 lbs and with dimensions in length and girth < 130 inches. Shipping for packages above these amounts will be calculated separately based on weight, size and delivery location.** Express Shipping typically arrives within two to three business days. i.e. if submitted on Saturday or Sunday, the order will ship on Monday and arrive by Wednesday. Flash Sales may require an additional 2 - 3 days due to order volume at our warehouse.*** Shipping costs may vary. Rate will be calculated upon checkout.
METHOD OF SELECTION:
PRIORITY and EXPRESS ORDERS:
A tracking number will be provided in an email to the customer at such time as the order ships. Please note that it may take several hours from the time an order ships to the time it is first scanned by the carrier into the their system.
DHoF™ ships to PO Boxes and Military addresses (APO/FPO/DPO addresses) within the United States and contingent upon USPS capabilities.
Sorry, but we cannot offer priority or express shipping for these shipments at this time. Orders that contain a different shipping address from billing address may be subject to review, in which case the customer will be contacted. This process will delay shipping time.
SHIPPING TAX RATES:
Tax rates are based on the shipping address and not the billing address.
USPS is closed in observation of holidays. Below are 2020 closure dates:
All packages marked as delivered by USPS or UPS are at the liability of the customer. Customers must be present or make accommodations when packages are being delivered. DC House of Fashions, LLC is not responsible for any lost packages once the item (in the tracking) has been marked as delivered.
LOST OR STOLEN PACKAGES:
If the package shows delivered to your address but is missing, you MUST report the loss to us within 7 business days of placing your order (domestic shipments) or 14 days of placing your order (international shipments). Once you have reported your lost package, DHoF will launch an inquiry with our carrier about the lost package and attempt to have it recovered. If the carrier declares the package to be a complete loss, we will file a claim with the carrier for reimbursement of the insured amount.
All Refused Packages are subject to a 15% restocking fee of the final order total. NO EXCEPTIONS
All Undeliverable packages that are not reshipped (After the customer pays for reshipment) are subject to a 15% restocking fee of the final order total. NO EXCEPTIONS
DHoF™ is not responsible for packages that are delivered to a wrong address due to an incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by the customer.
DHoF™ is NOT responsible for any shipping deliveries that may be affected by customs, natural occurrences, transfers from USPS to the local carrier in your country or air and ground transportation strikes or delays, nor are we responsible for any extra fees, customs or back end charges once the package has exited the United States. The customer is responsible for any and all customs charges due on delivery of product.
